Albert Corominas Subias
Albert Corominas Subias is a Professor Emeritus of organizational engineering at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), where he is assigned to the Department of Management at Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB). He is an industrial engineer and doctor in industrial engineering from the University of the Basque Country and a degree in computer science from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. His research activity, at the Institute of Industrial and Control Engineering of the UPC, focuses on the modeling and resolution, through optimization techniques, of organizational engineering problems. He is the author or co-author of books and articles published in AoOR, C & IE, C & OR, EJOR, IJFMS, IJPE, IJPR, INFOR, Interfaces, Josh, yores, Omega and ORL, among other magazines. He is a member of ADINGOR, IIE, INFORMA, ORS, POMS and SEIO and the research groups IOC and GIOPACT, of the UPC.
